About the 1000kmPlus Project
1000kmPlus - Navigating Electric Vehicles
For in-vehicle use, the electric vehicle route planning website is now available in the form of a navigation system that displays vehicle progress along the optimized route along with detailed driving instructions.
1000kmPlus - OTH-AW Routing Service Communication
In the project 1000kmPlus the OTH Amberg-Weiden develops a routing system for electric vehicles. In this video, the individual communication steps of the electric vehivlce routing service are explained. It shows what happens from clicking the start and destination point, to the display of a finished route on the website.
1000kmPlus - OTH-AW Routing Algorithm
In the project 1000kmPlus the OTH Amberg-Weiden develops a routing system for electric vehicles. This video explains the algorithm for calculating optimal routes for electric vehicles. The basic algorithm consists of several steps, including a pre-selection of routes, the generation of a new routing graph from a network of suitable charging stations and the finding of the optimal route including charging stations and charging times for the selected vehicle.
1000kmPlus - Routing for Electric Vehicles from the OTH Amberg-Weiden
In the project 1000kmPlus the OTH Amberg-Weiden develops a routing system for electric vehicles. In this video, you can see the results of the first mile stone. The video shows the basic functions of the electric vehicle routing application developed by the OTH Amberg-Weiden in the 1000kmPLUS project. A sample route is calculated and the results are shown and explained
1000kmPlus - OTH-AW 2000km Challenge
In the project 1000kmPlus the OTH Amberg-Weiden develops a routing system for electric vehicles. In the project the aim is to drive 1000km, 2000km and 4500km to show the performance of an battery and drivetrain optimized electric vehicle. The OTH-AW is developing a routing service to find the optimal routes for the test vehicle. In this video, the generation of a route for a 2000km trip is shown. The algorithm used to generate the routes is still under development. Further optimization can be found in our other videos.
