July, 2022

For the annual Project Meeting, the 1000kmPLUS consortium met in Munich at Campeon, the site of Infineon Technologies, on July 6 and 7. After many online meetings due to COVID, all project partners were happy to meet again in person. Together we discussed the current project status as well as the tasks of the remaining 6 project months. In this final sprint, the final vehicle build-up and the upcoming drive challenges are of particular importance. All in all, the project meeting was very successful.

In the project 1000kmPlus the OTH Amberg-Weiden develops a routing system for electric vehicles. In the course of the completion of Period 2 in the 1000kmPLUS project, two videos were created by OTH-AW to show the intermediate state of the development of the routing service for the test vehicle. The underlying routing algorithm and the communication architecture are shown.

September 2020

For the review meeting in September 2020, two videos were prepared by OTH-AW summarizing the work from Period 1 for 1000kmPLUS. One video showed the website and its operation and the other showed the creation of a route for 2000km. The algorithm used here to find the route is still being revised and optimized so that the best routes for the three challenges 1000km, 2000km and 4500km can be found.
